dear friends,
in Italy we are trying to create a network of people (amateurs,
professionals, academics) interested and directly involved in bioacoustics
and nature sound recording.
This message is primarily addressed to the italian readers to solicit them
visiting the very initial webpage
http://www.unipv.it/cibra/res_rete_ita.html where we are hoping to show the
italian activities. On the page there is a link to a online survey to
create a list of people interested in bioacoustics and/or owning nature
sound recordings.
The goal is to know who is working or has worked in this fascinating field
and to possibly connect all them in a network to be more visible and to
hopefully develop a coordinated strategy to document and study the nature
sounds and soundscapes of Italy.

I sincerely hope that italian readers will show up and contribute to the
network !
