  WARNING !

THERE'S AN EPIDEMIC OF SPAM MALWARE GOING AROUND A FEW HERE RIGHT NOW.

I WAS INFECTED FROM AN EMAIL LINK FROM ANOTHER LIST MEMBER'S EMAIL ACCOUNT =
AND IT'S STILL GOING AROUND.

It seems to be a malware that exploits the fact that you are already logged=
on to your email account and so it doesn't need to know your password.

It seems to go through your saved contact addresses and fires replicas of i=
tself off to all of them.

I found out what was going on when I found a list of "failed to deliver" me=
ssages from Yahoo.

I'm sorry if anyone else has been 'attacked' liked this from my account.

[ a tip; If the first "n" in my name is capitalized, it's not really a mess=
age from me ]

I've changed my password, but I don't think that's relevant to this problem=
 right now.

I ran "Spybot Search & Destroy" and it found a bunch of stuff, including re=
gistry additions. My computer is clean now, but this thing is still going a=
round virulently.

So, be very careful if you get any one-liner messages with a link.

Good luck all.

norman.
