That is the kind of ambient sounds I enjoy recording, and having a hard tim=
e finding a good balance between high sensitivity mics that really capture =
all the little sounds and mic\preamp noise. I prefer to use an all in one r=
ecorder like the Olympus LS-11 or the Sony PCM M10 since it's less stuff to=
 carry and the idea to record usually comes as an after thought when I am o=
ut and about (thus less gear to carry). Though between the Sony and Olympus=
, they really do have different types of sounds they pic up, so I am still =
looking for good balanced gear.

What gear are you using? Granted I have kids in my house making noise when =
I was listening to your recordings, but I couldn't here any mic noise at al=
l. Nice recordings.
