David,
ME62 is omni and won't give stereo in a telinga. I guess you got confused
by the use of a matched pair for stereo? In case of Telinga, they have a
separate stereo dat microphone, but I understand that won't fit in
universal kit of telinga.

ME66 is a supercardioid microphone. Though normally omni's are used in the
Telinga, they have a twin science microphone having one omni and one
cardioid(?).

Klas is a member here and he is better qualified to answer your questions.
Other users of the telinga stereo dat microphone can also tell you which
one is better.
