Hello, all. I hardly dare to share the following with you. On July 8 2009 I and my wife, El=EDn, went to the farm Hali in south-est Iceland. There we heard a lamb beating, probably demanding milk or somethin= g else. This was a young ram, which had lost it=91s mother and had been put i= n a fence together with an old ewe, not interested in the little at all. I recorded the crying of the lamb and then afterwards played a little with it, so in the end the lamb sings for me an old Icelandic lullaby about the little lamb, crying for his mother. This will also be uploaded on Soundcloud. This was recorded with 2 Sennheiser ME-62 and a Nagra Ares BB+. http://hljod.blog.is/blog/hljod/entry/1011781/ At that time I didn=91t upload the photo correctly and ther is no explanati= on in English. Best regards, Arnthor Helgason http://hljod.blog.is |
