If you're willing to commit the MX391LP/O mics to being in a stereo pair, y=
ou can also just snip off the TA4F connectors that come with them and then =
wire the mikes directly to a stereo mini plug. I did this recently, and I w=
ant to give a particular thanks to Neutrik for their NTP3RC right angle TRS=
 mini stereo solderable plugs. It handled the wire sizes of the 391s just f=
ine and is built like a (very tiny) tank. It provides good strain relief, h=
igh resistance to bending and cracking the plug body, and low stress on the=
 recorder's fragile mini input jack.
