I was recently at a conference near Phiilip Island in Victoria, Australia. There wasn't much daylight available outside of conference times as it's mid winter here, and the weather was very wet and windy, so I only managed this one recording of surf at Woolamai Beach: http://soundcloud.com/petershute/woolamai This was recorded with my EM172/SASS rig, so I'm interested in opinions on the quality. In particular, an odd shifting effect at 4:00 which I'm wondering whether it's caused by wind in the mics, or possibly some fluke of wave patterns. Peter Shute |
