For the past three years we=E2=80=99ve been working on a primate website al=
ltheworldsprimates.org. A for-pay site primarily for academics and those in=
terested in our closest relatives, it attempts to address the richness and =
diversity of the order. Proceeds from the site are used by the all-voluntee=
r parent organization Primate Conservation, Inc. (www.primate.org) to fund =
its grants program to study the most and endangered and least well understo=
od primates in their native habitat.

We=E2=80=99re looking for video and audio members are willing to share. We =
don=E2=80=99t pay but we will offer memberships to those who wish to donate=
 their work. We need the calls to be identified to the species level and th=
is can be a little tricky. If recorded in the wild, the location and a gene=
ral description is important. If you are not sure of species we can try to =
work that out. But please be sure that you know it=E2=80=99s a primate and =
not something else. If the recordings are in captivity, then the species an=
d the institution are needed. Additional context like the circumstances and=
 date of recording are most welcome.

We cannot promise that your recordings will be used. We may also edit but i=
n those cases your feedback is both expected and welcome.

Those interested please contact me at the site email address: customerserve=
@primate.org. All assistance deeply appreciated.
