<< Can I ask what brand of cable you are using(if that matters)? >> I would recommend AGAINST the Hosa brand cables, with molded plastic connec= tor barrels, commonly available at Guitar Centers & other music shops. They= are the only brand I've found to have consistent reliability issues, alway= s at the connector end. After 2 separate Hosa cable failures during live co= ncerts I now forbid our technical director from refilling cable stocks with= anything from that brand. Caveat emptor. Canare, Mogami, Gepco & Belden are the brands I see in the majority of pro = audio usage. Scott Fraser |
