Thanks Ray, and today, just 2 weeks later, the same location is full
of singing House Wrens and Mountain Bluebirds. The woodpeckers, on
the other hand, are there, but more sedate. A Red-tailed Hawk is
sitting on her nest. The soundscape evolves quickly and spring
advances.
