I'd be most grateful for advice on the sensitivity settings on Olympus LS-100 recorder that I am using with an Audio-Technica BP4025 stereo microphone. The BP4025 quoted OPEN CIRCUIT SENSITIVITY is -32 dB (25.1 mV) re 1V at 1 Pa. (see http://www.audio-technica.com/cms/wired_mics/5bbed15003fe56a2/index.html) On the LS-100 the sensitivity options for the XLR inputs are: HI -58dBu; LOW -38dBu I'm wondering what the optimal sensitivity setting is when connecting the BP4025 mic: HI or LOW Thank you Simon |
