The R-26 battery uses 4 AA cells. Here's what Roland Tech Support says about
how long the battery can provide 48V phantom power to two external mics.

Subject: battery life phantom power

Question:
The R-26 manual says to expect about 10 hours of battery life
life when recording using the internal mics. How many hours will
the battery last when providing 48V phantom power to a pair of
external mics?

Answer:
The R-26 can operate for 3 hours and 40 mins, or more, when
recording with phantom power on for both inputs 1 and 2.

We hope this information is helpful.

Sincerely,

Roland US Product Support
