It's probably not what you want, but this one is supposed to be able to dis= play one on an iPhone in real time for sounds you are hearing: http://earbirding.com/blog/archives/2346 No idea if it works on an iPad or on exisiting files. If you google "ipad spectrogram" you'll find a few more, but those I looked= at seem to be real time too..
