Subject: | [Nature Recordists] EM172 capsule frequency response |
From: | Paul <> |
Does anyone know what it is for sure? I'm about ready to order some from frogloggers, but I want something with as wide a F.R. as possible. Particularly, I want/need low frequency and low self noise(one of the thing= s I'll be recording is wolves, and want to catch the deep base). The Primo datasheet does not seem to spell out the response, but the graphic part of = the sheet seems to indicate a pretty limited response of no lower then 100 hz. = If that's the case...are there ANY other affordable low self noise capsules ou= t there with a better frequency response? And if it is the case...does anyo= ne have any experience with them, how well they do in the real world with lowe= r frequency's? |
