You hit the nail right on the head.=C2=A0 Documentation on the Sennheiser w= eb site shows that the MKH20 has an equalizer that provides about 13 dB of boost at= 20 kHz, relative to 1 kHz.=C2=A0 Your measurement shows an increase in noise o= f 18 dB at the highest frequencies, relative to 1 kHz.=C2=A0 But it's quite possible t= hat the circuitry itself doesn't have a flat (white) noise floor.=C2=A0 The match i= s pretty close. |
