Olympus LS-10 Wired Remote - hacked

Subject: Olympus LS-10 Wired Remote - hacked

I've just worked out the connections to access remote control of the Olympu=
s LS-10 (and presumably LS-11 also).

It uses just two connections of the 2.5mm four-pole jack plug that goes int=
o the remote socket between the inbuilt microphones.

Sleeve and ring 2 shorted is the stop command.

A 1.5v pulse between sleeve and ring two is the record command.

I haven't built a unit yet, but will simply put a AA battery in to provide =
the pulse.

Any thoughts or improvements welcome.
