Nature Sounds Society's Post Production Workshop
February 3, 4, & 5, 2012
Dan Dugan Sound Design
San Francisco, CA
Now that you've made some great recordings, what do you do next? Learn how =
to edit, filter, and produce CDs or MP3s of your recordings. A finished rec=
ording makes a great gift. You can use them in art installations or present=
ations, or just have a library of your own sounds to enjoy.
Rob Danielson, Associate Professor of Film, Video & Sound, University of Wi=
sconsin, and sound designer Dan Dugan will lead this hands-on seminar.
The post workshop is an opportunity for participants to learn how to use di=
gital audio workstation software. The workshop is open to both amateurs and=
professionals. Meals will be provided.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptops and headphones and to ins=
tall software provided as part of the workshop fee. A couple of computers w=
ill be available for use by registrants who don't have their own laptops.
The cost, including software and meals, is $229 for NSS members, $249 for n=
on-members (includes one-year NSS membership). For the registration form go=
