Sure, David, that's a good idea, I'll try something like that. I am used to= aiming by ear: maybe I can hire a squirrel to shake the peanuts. Whether or not this system proves to sound nice, one consideration is that = a recorder mounted in a dish maybe more vulnerable to damage than one kept = in a pocket or bag.
