=C2=A0 Martin, Lovely recording. Talk about getting the mic in the right place at the right time. :-) And good stereo placement separating the two cuckoos. Did the first one go behind left? I can't decide on the chattering at about 1:50 - squirrel or raptor or corvid subsong? I thought at first that the quiet "chucks" were linked to the cuckoo but decided they came from the 1:50 contributor's direction. I'm also a bit jealous as I haven't heard a cuckoo in the woods here for two years. David David Brinicombe North Devon, UK Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum - Ambrose Bierce |
