Nathan,
The 'owl' is supposedly the 'demented monkey thing', although I am
still totally convinced it is the distress call of a Green Tree Frog.
The constant drone would be either cicada or katydid or cricket.
The croaky sounds are frogs, and very like the typical croaks of
Green Tree Frogs.
Yes you are right, there is another 'chirping/birdie' thing around
1:00, I've no idea what that is.
We do need to know what equipment was used to make the original
recording.
I suspect the original recording may have been in mp3 format from a
long-running monitoring system? Peter, do you know?
