Owners and Initiators

of "River Zoofarm" Are the German Family Schuhmann which is living
since more then 10 years in Western Africa. Father Schuhmann is Jurist
and the Managing Director of River Zoofarm.

Up to 1998 Family Schuhmann was operating the Governmental Zoopark in
Guinea-Bissau for the Ministery of Agriculture. The war 1998 destroyed
this Zoo Park totaly.

Since 1998 Hans J=88rg Schuhmann, the son, is owner of a 148 Hectar
Areal which is bordered by two freshwater rivers and a lake, about 125
km from the Capital Bissau away. Tousends of Birds, big Mammals and
other native Fauna is free and wilde living on this farm. But the
reason ist the breeding of endangered species.

Family Schuhmann is working very close with the Guinea-Bissau Wildlife
Departement together and is the only holders of a licence for
capturing, keeping and exporting Wildlife.
