I had a Tokay Gecko as a pet when I was a kid. Keeping wild pets back then was not, as it should be, politically incorrect. It had a single, much deeper bark. I've often had geckos visit hotel room in sojourns to tropical climates. When I consider they dine on the hoard of other creatures that come to my bed only to confound my sleep and drink my blood, they are always welcome guests, barking or not. |
