Subject: RMIT Kaleide Theatre, 360 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Saturday 2nd
July 2-5pm.

The Australian Forum for Acoustic Ecology is very excited to have
Douglas Quin present his extensive knowledge of place and sound. After
successful presentations in Brisbane and Canberra, he will be in
Melbourne to talk about his thoughts on landscape and nature, with
specific regard to Antarctica and other wild places he has visited.

Douglas has had considerable experience in sound design, the
production and installation of public space projects, and the creation
of television, radio and internet programs on acoustic ecology,
soundscape and the natural environment. He was recently the sound
designer for Werner Herzog=92s award-winning documentary about life in
Antarctica, Encounters at the End of the World.
