baudline works well inside oracle/sun virtual box (free) virtual machine fo=
r windows. If virtual box is installed and a live linux cd booted from the =
.iso image you can then lauch a browser and install baudline.

I use a mix of operating systems depending on the tools needed, mac os x, w=
indows or linux. Audio analysis is generally better supported in windows ar=
ta/dssf3 etc, but fuzz measure is rather good as an os x app.

Also consider reaper for windows, It comes with many plug-ins for EQ and vi=
sualisation e.g JS/Spectrograph will show a real time spectrogram while rec=
ording or playing media. or commercial plugins such as visualizer.

Have fun,
-Mike.
