The sound approach guides are absolutely fantastic! They are what started =
me thinking about bird song/call in more detail, which has now grown into a=
passion of mine.
By the way I never introduced myself to the group. I am an ornithologist, =
carrying out surveys mostly for wind farms and developments, I also provide=
training and lecture to wildlife groups where my sound recording play an i=
mportant role. I can then demonstrate the variability of each species and =
show how CDs don't alway give the whole picture. Oh yes I also use my reco=
rding when I lead groups as well. I am also the chair of the London Bird C=
lub and a moderator for two bird yahoo email groups (London Birders and Ess=
ex Birders).
