Chai, While I have had no direct experience with the Azden SGM-100, I have used other Azden products. I have not had good experiences with any of them. If you must have a shotgun mic, you can pick up the Rode NTG-2 for a few dollars more. I have used the NTG-2 on several occasions, and it is an excellent mic for the price.
