Pricing a job

Subject: Pricing a job

Got a call this morning, a company is looking for captured audio of
Christmas activity. Fairly open ended as to what the audio is, just
street activity of holiday shopping and etc.

It's all background sound for a client Christmas video.

How do/would you folks price out specific jobs like this? Per hour?
Per recorded minute? I'm fine with a fair hourly rate and expenses
(parking and etc.). But wanted to see how the rest of you would do it.

I know in the past, they've purchased audio at rates I would consider
obscene. =3D)
