The unfiltered version was much better. Yes definitely a Singing
Honeyeater, I suspect 2 or 3 are singing together. The melodious
'drrt' call is typical altho in Perth they do manage a few song
phrases as well, in the spring. Here is a sample I recorded in
suburban Perth in 1988, on microcassette.
