Thanks for that lovely recording. My email computer sound card has
failed and it takes time to play stuff, so I'm late with my
congratulations. This is what nature recording is about - getting good
atmospheres. And you were using my favourite mic manufacturer. Your
M-S mic technique and placing does this well with a good centre and
side images and a clean sound. I had a listen to the M and S signals
separately as well and these would both stand up on their own as mono.
It sounded as if you were over soft ground. My crossed shotgun mics
won't sound anywhere as clean as that. Impressed.
