The setup was an MS system comprising of MKH-40/30 suspended in a rycote wi=
ndjammer and covered with a rycote "duck"
I look for objects that get affected by the wind like wire fences or old ba=
rns, this was done by an old building on a wooded property, I had listened =
to the wind there before and took the chance that the wind would be reflect=
ing off the structure in this particular storm.
I also did a surround track with the Soundfield ST350 microphone and that c=
ame out amazingly well, played over the studio system gives a sense of bein=
g there, My dog runs out the room when the thunder cracks.
