I posted the following to Mythbusters, let's see if they will accept the ch= allenge: In a Mythbusters episode about bloodhound dogs identifying a person, the sh= ow flashed a clip of a Turkey Vulture flying overhead with the accompanying= sound of a Red-tailed Hawk scream. Many movies and TV shows have associate= d the Hawk's vocal alarm call with Vultures, Golden Eagles, and Bald Eagles= . So, here is the myth: Can all these birds, including the Turkey Vulture tha= t doesn't even have a voice, really scream exactly the same as the Red-tail= ed Hawk???? I bet your myth with be BUSTED!
