They were interleaved to start with.=C2=A0 The problem seems to happen when=
concatenating and speed adjusting multiple interleaved (stereo) files.=C2=
=A0 Since the Korg breaks every 1GB or 15 minutes (24/192) or 12 minutes 41=
-ish second (DSD).=C2=A0 Up until that point I used sox almost exclusively.=
=C2=A0 With audacity only to figure out the edit points and math.=C2=A0 Now=
I take a fairly long way around.
Actually very long way around.=C2=A0 But for other reasons beyond just the =
phase shifting.=C2=A0 Pretty much replacing sox with libsndfile almost comp=
letely.=C2=A0 The speed function is still done with sox, but now as MONO al=
ready concatenated files.=C2=A0 Otherwise the new bash script of sorts look=
s like this:
http://home.earthlink.net/~shadow_7/korg_resync.sh
$ sh korg_resync.sh 0102 slow 1
I'm liking libsndfile's resampling abilities better.=C2=A0 Even though it t=
akes an ungodly amount of time to process.=C2=A0 Other issues were encounte=
d with > 4GB audio files.=C2=A0 Which really complicated things since I had=
to rejoin in groups instead of one big file.=C2=A0 I never really wanted t=
o be this intimate with the editing process.=C2=A0 But boy what a differenc=
e it makes when the job is done right.=C2=A0 Or as close to it as you can g=
et with linux and other open source applications.=C2=A0 Not having to stop =
and put on hold all of your other projects to reboot into windows, priceles=
s.=C2=A0 But getting a bit OT for the OP.=C2=A0 Basically the issue only sh=
owed itself when playing the edited content on speakers.=C2=A0 In contrast =
to the unedited content on the same speakers.=C2=A0 Headphones otherwise ma=
sk that particular issue.
