Excellent.=A0 It's only a matter of time until your rig starts to look like=
this:

The boom arm was new for todays gig.=A0 I've had terrible luck with boom ar=
ms, so I have more parts than functional boom arms.=A0 They said they wante=
d stealth, but that's about as stealthy as my rig gets.=A0 I rigged the cam=
corder to the boom arm, only because without setting the rig on the ground,=
I was having to hold the boom arm anyway to minimize handling noise(need s=
hock mounts).=A0 Plus I figured an umbrella could be used in a crunch if ne=
eded.=A0
There's a spool of 1/8" camo rope between the MR-1000 and 2x MM-1's.=A0 a) =
You never know when you need rope, b) it keeps it from rattling around loos=
e, c) it can be removed fairly quickly to gain access to the battery compar=
tment.=A0 Probably a one time run (assuming I get another boom arm, or a mi=
c stand that's > 6' tall).=A0 Although I think that I'll leave the boom arm=
clutch attached.=A0 You never know when you need it.=A0 At a minimum it sh=
ould allow the shorter segment of the boom arm for a much lighter and stabl=
e rig.=A0 If not a short term rig, then I guess I need to acquire some cabl=
es shorter than 15'.=A0 And a second boom arm clutch of that type to keep t=
he rig from tearing itself apart.=A0 And some shock mounts.
Just saying that you have to take into account some other considerations wh=
en using a lot of parts to make a single rig.=A0 While it may spec nicely f=
or most parts.=A0 In use, it can be a little burdensome.=A0 At a minimum he=
avy.=A0 Yes each part only weights 1lbs.=A0 But ten parts, and well, it doe=
sn't take much until you need a small horse.=A0 At least I left the sE refl=
exion filter off this time.
