most of you know by now, i had been building sound field tetrahedron microp= hones on top of a modified zoom H2. i am now modifying the zoom further, to piggy= back a nine volt battery and changing the connector to a six pin xlr. the reason= is that i am trying to build a native B format microphone which will not need= calibration but needs electronics for the matrixes involved to create three= figure of eight and one omni microphones (just four opamps really). the nin= e volt supply also means my capsules can be powered better. at the moment i a= m working with 14 mm capsules, but i will soon build a native b format mic wi= th 25 mm capsules and=A0paralleled low noise fets. =A0i have published my poems. you can read (or buy) at http://stores.lulu.com/umashankar |
