Hi Ray--

Your first post on the list? If so, welcome!
So you want an on-board stereo mic,.. Do you want to do nature 
recording with video in quiet natural locations or use the 
combination primarily to record ambience in louder settings?

The Crown SASS-P is known in limited circles, this being one of them. 
Do you want to try and replicate the stereo imaging of that mic/array 
or would you be happy with X-Y or M-S stereo arrays? Rob D.
