Its not a shore bird, I'm quite certain...  Reason being, it was recorded
along a wooded strip in a residential area about 1 mile inland from the
shore...

My brother and I have both been researching this sound and as close as we
can come by matching sounds with those on line is that its an Eastern Gray=

Tree Frog however that's more guess than anything.

We have a lot of Cardinals nesting in this area and I seem to hear this
sound in the afternoon when the cardinals are whistling. I'm wondering if
its possible its some adult/juvenile communication call they make, but
again that is only because I seem to hear it only when the adult cardinals=

are active.
