I recorded this unusual sound earlier this week. My recorder had been left for a week in the woods and this is what I recorded. I contacted the Illinois State Museum but they were unable to help with an ID. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be. Recorded in an Oak-Hickory Forest in Central Illinois http://www.stancourtney.com/sounds/insects/2010.05.07._Insect.mp3 <http://www.stancourtney.com/sounds/insects/2010.05.07._Insect.mp3> Thanks, Stan Courtney [Central Illinois] http://www.stancourtney.com/ <http://www.stancourtney.com/> |
