Can anyone recommend a shotgun mic setup for around $300-$400? This is what= I've come up with, for about $340: Audio-Technica AT8035 (was previously the AT835B) - about $200. Pearstone Universal Shockmount WindTech Windshield Pearstone Universal Microphone Handgrip XLR male to XLR Female Balanced Cable I am interested in hearing if anyone has any experience with the mic, or ca= n recommend something they feel may be better. The problem I run into is tr= ying to figure out which accessories are compatible with the different mics= . This is for a student recording system for high school age at risk boys, an= d will be used mostly for nature recording. Thanks, Jack |
