Hi Rob,

I would like to enquire how quiet the Crex Meadows area is from human gener=
ated noise? I was looking on the map and the area looks rather isolated, bu=
t I have never been there. Is there a lot of traffic on the back roads, pla=
ne/jet flyovers, nearby trains, busy bird watchers, or industrial activitie=
s nearby? Ocassional interruptions is tollerable as long as there isn't a n=
ear constant, low level, background noise. I like to record soundscapes wit=
h Rode NT1-A's that pick every little noise around.

I was reading about the Crex Meadows, and it seems like a wildlife haven. A=
re there camping areas nearby? How bad are the ticks and mosquitos? I am no=
t sure I can make it to the recordist campout yet.

Thanks,
Bruce Rutkoski
