Tascam announced a portable 8 track field recorder at the 2010 Winter NAMM = show today. For information and photos see http://www.tascam.com/products/= dr-680.html Features of the DR-680 include Four combo 1/4"/XLR mic inputs, recording at 24/96 .. individual low cut filter and limiter for each of these 4 channels Two additional TRS 1/4" mic inputs =3D four more 24/96 channels .. low cut filter and limiter on each pair of inputs 48V Phantom power available on all inputs Record 8 inputs, or six plus a stereo mixdown alternatively, two XLR channels can be record at speeds up to 24/192 records to SDHC flash memory card one S/PDIF input and output via RCA jacks six individual line output channels monitor output to headphones can be an individual channel, or stereo mix of= all channels. Single built-in speaker also available for playback. no time code sync available with this model powered by 8 AA cells |
