Hi Folks! I have tried to sort this out myself, but decided before I went completely = mad I'd ask the experts. I have a sneaking suspicion that the answer will t= urn out to be ridiculously simple, but I don't care! Right, I filled a 4 gig card with a single test recording at 24/48 to see h= ow much time I'd get on my FR2. I opened up the file in Audition 1.5 and wa= s perplexed to see a length shown as about forty eight minutes; the sort of= length I might expect from a one gig card. I did a check and found that it= definitely was a 4 gig card and thought what's going on? I next made a cop= y of the file and opened it in Audacity, and low and behold it's now showin= g more or less what I expected; about 3.54. So, the question is WHY is Audition only apparently loading less than a qua= rter of the file? Hopefully yours Max |
