Hi folks, Today I received the new Olympus LS-11 and performed a few quick tests. The= preamplifier noise performance is pretty much the same as that of its pred= ecessor, the LS-10. Though, I believe that the in-built microphones have be= en improved. In terms of the inherent noise, they seem to be very close to = those of the SONY PCM-D50. Another useful improvement is the optional mono = recording mode that will save storage space when using an external shotgun = microphone for instance. Regards, Raimund |
