OK, this is just first impressions on removing from box. These are extremel=
y well made solid units that inspire confidence from the word go. I was fra=
nkly amazed to discover a load of stuff on the back, that I didn't realise =
would be there. Apart from balanced XLR and jack inputs, there is also a ga=
in control. Below that are four slider switches; Acoustic space (see manual=
); High boost 0 + -; Mid boost the same; and Lo 3db with 56,80 and 100 posi=
tions. There are also helpfully, two printed diagrams of how both XLR and T=
RS should be wired. I find it extraordinary that Alesis don't give a photo =
of the rear of this unit in their advertising blurb, as I feel sure it woul=
d increase their sales. All of this in a pair of speakers that cost approxi=
mately =A3150 or $250 is pretty good I feel. If the sound is as good as the=
reviews predict, then I will be a very happy man.
I will update on my personal opinion of the sound, once I have received my =
Art DTI and made up some leads. Can't wait!
