Just curious as our RecorderList is using A weighted as > the standard. Hi Rob, I just measured the E-MU Tracker Pre noise at the maximum gain setting and got an disappointing result. I measured -115 dBu (unweighted). On the larger E-MU 0404 unit I got a value of -122 dBu. I'm not sure why there is such a big discrepancy compared to the figure provided by the manufacturer. One reason might be the harmonic noise components (probably originating from the digital components of the unit) that might be unique to my individual unit. Regards, Raimund |
