MS STEREO PARABOLIC MICROPHONE

I am recording ms stereo, with senheizer mkh 30/40 and I put it on a parabo=
la, 60 cm diameter. I lose the stereo stage but not al the stereo effect, w=
ith off corse some gain, huge gain?. Somebody can see it in the Freesoundpr=
oject username FREITOJOS. I would like some coments about the sounds I put =
there. So I can improve my recordings.
Another question is, I am using one Jensen transformer between my apogee mi=
ni mp  balanced output and my edirol r09 line input,and in a comparision be=
twenn this setup and a pda with one Echo audiofire 2 sound card the jensen =
and the edirol r09 seemms to present the better sound.Can someone answrs wh=
y?

I am from Portugal, and my recordings are from Alentejo in the south.
