Dear all,

Thanks a lot for your comments.

I noticed that I didn=B4t give enough info about my recordings...
The were originally mono, as I recorded them with the Sony TCM 5000. I
am not sure how the digitization was made.

To the ear they sound just fine, really. And size is a problem to
actually work with them. It takes over 1min to open a file, and then
slow to work.

I am getting a "big" computer soon so that may no longer be a problem!

And yes, when I said that they sounded in stereo, I meant I can hear
them through both speakers..
