Hi all:
I think I may have posted this before but can't seem to find it or any
responses. Then again I may just be inept.
I'm doing a longish musical piece for Ptolemaic Terrascope, a sporadic
periodical based around psychedelic / folk music and the various
permutations of those genres. In any case, my piece is "about" the
exploration of the West, particularly the high mountain regions, by E. Coast
American explorers. Having said that, it's a bit more fantastic than that,
in that the high mountain places are pan-geographical. In fact, I'm using a
lot of Tibetan music as an influence here.
I wondered if any of you had recording from high up places up past the tree
line (or recordings that might sound like that). Wind through rocks,
flapping tent parts, near-silent snowscapes, croaking high-up ravens or some
such? & if so, if you'd be willing to share for (credited) use in this
project.
I'm at if you'd like to discuss.
Best,
Christian Kiefer
