Wes,

Price is a consideration but I am looking at this as a one time purchase (w=
ithin reason!) but the usual problem I have here in Canada is that many pro=
ducts are not available. The advice on monitors from everyone has been gre=
at. It gives me a good starting point for what to look for here. Some of =
these manufactures I have not seen before.

Thanks,

Jason

ediadesk 2.1 active monitors. They are in the $500 range. Designed for th=
e small project studio. Use a subwoofer to handle the low end. Comes with=
a calibration file to achieve the right balance for the acoustic condition=
s in your studio. I've sure been pleased with my set.
