I have just come back from Texas recording in the Rio Grande Valley
with Lang (Elliott)
Here is a montage of some of the sounds I recorded for a little
enjoyment.

From Salineno to Sable palms, this is a montage of sounds captured
along the Rio Grande River, Texas. From white-winged dove flaps to
Ringed kingfisher rattles, couch=92s kingbird to a massive flock of some =

3000 black-bellied whistling ducks. This montage ends with the elusive
ferruginous pygmy owl in Bentsen Rio Grande State park.

Recorder SD788T
Microphones used: MKH-40/30 & Telinga DAT parabolic dish.
Sample rate 44.1k 24 bit
Weather: partly cloudy
Temp:85f
Humidity: 84%
Recordist: Martyn Stewart.
Tripod mounted with Windpac.
