I stopped at the edge of the Atchafalaya basin, in between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, to record amphibians, about 6 years ago. Took I-10 and stopped on an exit ramp and drove off on the local roads. Very noisy with vocalizations in the spring nighttime, and you can get away from machine noise if you know where to go. I worked with someone at Lousiana game and fish and recommend you call them. --- In "Danny Meltzer" <> wrote: > > Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on places to record in Louisiana?
